A Brush with Kindness begins!!!!

Today marks the first day of Habitat's "A Brush With Kindness" (ABWK) program. Habitat recently merged with the local Christmas in April/Rebuilding Together Chapter with the goal of providing interior and exterior home repair services to low-income homeowners in need. The work is done by volunteers who use donated materials whenever possible; and similar to the Habitat model, the homeowner must meet a demonstrated need, willingness to partner and ability to re-pay a no interest loan. Payments made by the partner family are placed in a revolving fund to help ABWK serve others in need. We are excited to see the progress of the two homes being renovated at this time, as well as the growth of the entire program in the future! We welcome you to join us on our journey!
